After five successful years, Leña Marbella continues to grow and ignites the spark of summer with the expansion of its space. This evolution elevates the gastronomic experience and consolidates the vision of Chef Dani García: an innovative steakhouse that unites technique, product and avant-garde. Leña Marbella grows without losing its essence, becoming a broader concept, more ambitious and with more fire than ever.
With the arrival of the long days and the most beautiful nights of the year, the restaurant takes another step in its evolution. Located in the emblematic Puente Romano hotel, it continues its growth with a significant expansion of its space. The new area occupies the former premises of BiBo Marbella, one of the most beloved brands of the group. This incorporation reinforces the creative essence of Dani García and elevates it in a more ambitious, immersive and spectacular environment.
The expansion adds an extra capacity for 141 people, raising the total capacity of the restaurant to 279 diners. This figure includes the lounge area and the bar, two key spaces in the Leña experience. In addition to more space, important novelties are incorporated, such as an imposing central bar that becomes the heart of the room. This bar is designed to offer a unique and immersive experience in Marbella.
Wood is burning in Marbella
The design of the new space has been created by the Astet studio, responsible for the interior design of all the Leña restaurants. This studio has signed the spaces of Marbella, Madrid, Barcelona and Dubai, maintaining a coherent and iconic visual identity. The new design enhances that already recognizable language, making Fuelwood a true international reference. Inspired by the ancestral and the primitive, he uses materials such as wood and stone. It also plays with a color palette dominated by blacks and dim lighting. All this creates a sensory atmosphere that connects directly with the essence of fire.
As for the gastronomic proposal, Leña Marbella maintains its balance between product and technique, with a kitchen focused on the art of cooking over coals. In this universe, fire is the main protagonist, enhancing the pure flavors with the aroma of smoke. The grill transforms vegetables, seafood, fish and noble cuts of meat. All this becomes a complete sensory experience, in which each dish speaks with intensity.
From its vegetable starters such as roasted leek or grilled Malaga avocado, the menu is a tribute to flavor. The cilantro pesto, the vegetable salpicón and the feta cheese bring freshness and contrasts. Yakipinchos also shine, such as the chicken meatball with lemon zest. Of course, you can’t miss their iconic Burger, a classic that marked the beginning of everything. The main dishes include grilled sea bass or beef Tomahawk. Also the old cow ribeye and the A5 wagyu tenderloin, which is quite a show.
Driven by the fire of embers that never go out, Fuelwood continues to grow without losing its essence. This expansion consolidates its presence in Marbella and reaffirms the success of a unique concept. Leña is not only a restaurant, it is a way of understanding cooking, fire and the experience. With offices in Marbella, Madrid, Dubai and a recent opening in Barcelona, it has established itself as an international benchmark. Very soon, his unmistakable proposal will also arrive in Miami, Mallorca and Ibiza. This is how it continues its expansion, taking the soul of the embers all over the world.
